Thank you for this excellent analysis. For me, it comes down to this: Don't Fund Trump's and Project 2025's Agenda, which is to dismantle our constitution, ignore due process, and erase the entire system of checks and balances that has existed with three co-equal branches of government. Unacceptable. Period.

what a terrible time, but I am glad you are active and attending where you can. When I relocate I can look for such spots to participate. SIGN ME UP TO END THIS SEEMING FATE. Yes indeed. Thank you BJC. Love you!

This is so, so helpful. The best piece of advice here is "in order to be convincing, you may need to choose an angle." I see so much scattered messaging out there, and I get it - it's big, it's overwhelming, no one knows where to look - but this is a good reminder that focusing on one issue at a time is how hearts and minds are won. Thanks, Bonnie Jo.

Thanks for doing the work, Bonnie Jo. I was aware of much, but not all of what you wrote. We are under the rule of fascists and we all need to resist in every way we can so the regime doesn't become permanent. It will take decades to repair the damage already done. It's good to know you are on our side. The other side is ruthless; we need to stop being nice.

Again, I got nothing.

It's the big ugly budget buster as far as I'm concerned. We haven't debated a budget since Harry Ried took over the Senate and threatened to expel the first Senator that put one forth.

It's been omnibus after omnibus ever since.

There's a debt ceiling increase in there, which is needed to pay for a $2,400,000,000,000. expenditure, and a $3,000,000,000,000 increase to the National debt.

Thanks for speaking out. For focusing on being clear & factual in our communication with our US Senators & Congressmen. For suggesting we write our responses. Every time II’ve spoken to our congressman’s staff I get interrupted & I react rudely. I now am using email to communicate with him.

I declined his invitation to his “town hall”.

Thanks for motivating me to keep on doing what I can & not to give up.
